Role Summary
The Solution Developer is responsible for building high-quality, reliable, and maintainable solutions aligned to approved designs and requirements. This role executes solution builds using best practices, strong validation methods, and disciplined implementation to deliver client outcomes that scale and endure.
Solution Developers focus on technical excellence and execution quality, working closely with Solution Designers and Practice Leads to ensure solutions are built efficiently, correctly, and consistently.

- Efficiency and productivity in build delivery
- Build quality and adherence to best practices and internal standards
- Low defect and rework rates through strong testing and validation
- Predictability and consistency of delivery across engagements
Core Responsibilities
Solution Development
- Build configurations aligned with approved designs and requirements
- Implement solutions with clean structure, scalability, and maintainability in mind
- Translate functional and technical requirements into working configurations
- Balance speed with quality to meet delivery timelines without sacrificing standards
Development Best Practices
- Follow established development standards, patterns, and conventions
- Apply consistent naming, structure, and documentation practices
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve build quality and consistency
- Stay current with platform capabilities and evolving best practices
Testing & Validation
- Perform thorough internal testing and validation of configurations
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle
- Document defects, fixes, and key implementation decisions as needed
- Partner with Solution Designers to validate functional outcomes
Collaboration & Delivery Alignment
- Work closely with Solution Designers to clarify requirements and intent
- Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs proactively
- Incorporate feedback from build reviews and quality checks
- Support Practice Leads in maintaining delivery standards across engagements
Continuous Improvement & Practice Contribution
- Contribute to reusable assets, templates, and accelerators
- Identify tooling, process, or pattern improvements that increase efficiency
- Share learnings and best practices with peers
- Support onboarding and enablement of new Solution Developers as needed

- Client stakeholders (as needed, typically for validation or walkthroughs)
Required Qualifications
- Strong solution-building discipline with a quality-first mindset
- Ability to translate requirements and designs into working, well-structured configurations
- Solid testing and validation habits
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ownership mindset for build quality, deadlines, and outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Pigment or other enterprise planning/analytics platforms
- Experience contributing to reusable assets, templates, or accelerators
- Experience improving build efficiency through tooling, automation, or process improvements
