About TwinSix
We’re a design studio for finance. We partner with visionary finance teams to design planning systems that are intuitive, scalable, and deeply embedded in how businesses make decisions.
We use Pigment as our creative platform to architect bespoke, high-impact solutions. Every engagement is a product journey from deep discovery to system blueprinting, co-creation, launch, and iteration. We design systems that change how companies operate.
About the Role
As a Solution Designer at TwinSix, you’ll own the full journey of designing, shaping, and launching business planning systems that solve real-world complexity with clarity and craft.
You’ll lead discovery to uncover what really matters, create elegant system blueprints, and guide a team of Solution Builders to bring it to life. You won’t manage a plan, you’ll own a product, from vision to launch to iteration.
What You’ll Do
- Lead immersive discovery to surface problems, not just gather requirements
- Own the full system design: usability, scalability, and experience architecture
- Create interactive design specs and visual blueprints that guide the solution
- Collaborate closely with Solution Builders to bring ideas to life with clarity and craft
- Manage stakeholders from CFOs to end users, translating needs into usable systems
- Drive iteration post-launch: gather feedback, refine features, optimize workflows
- Serve as the strategic partner throughout the client journey from first sketch to system maturity
What Makes You Right for This Role
- You think like a product owner; curious, empathetic, and deeply outcome-driven
- You’ve designed planning systems in Pigment (or similar tools like Anaplan/Adaptive)
- You thrive in ambiguity and bring structure where others see noise
- You can translate complexity across levels; executives, analysts, and everyone in between
- You see systems holistically: data integrity, model logic, and user experience all matter
- You’ve led builds, made trade-offs, and delivered under pressure without losing clarity
Preferred Background
- Experience in FP&A, finance systems, RevOps, or product/process design
- Proven ability to design solutions that connect business need with technical execution
- Fluent in modeling and data thinking (Excel a must, SQL a plus)
- Bonus: you’ve been in the seat before, whether in finance, ops, or systems leadership
Why This Role Is Different
- You own the outcome, not the output
- You influence product, process, and people through design, not hierarchy
- You get trust, autonomy, and the space to do your best thinking
- You’re not executing someone else’s plan, you’re shaping what comes next
